Terms & Conditions – Boatshed Motel Apartments

Reservations:

You must be 20 years of age or over.  Payment is due on arrival and proof of ID will be required along with a valid Credit Card.  (Either Visa or Mastercard – sorry, we don’t accept AMX)

All bookings made through this web site must be accompanied by a valid Credit Card and will only be charged in the event of a no show or late cancellation as per our cancellation policy.

Unless prior arrangements have been made with us the card will only be debited the full amount at the time of check-in.

All rates are quoted in NZ Dollars on a per night basis, for up to 2 people, and include 15% GST.

All accounts must be settled directly with the Boatshed Motel Apartments in New Zealand Dollars on or before arrival.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:

During holiday periods, 2 weeks notice of cancellation is required.  At least one night cancellation fee will apply.  This fee also applies to Group bookings.

Any other cancellations must be received no later than 48 hours prior to arrival. If you do cancel within 48 hours of arrival you will be charged for one night, if we are unable to on sell it.

Nothing will be charged to the card unless you fail to cancel and/or fail to show.  In the event of a late cancellation every effort will be made to on sell the room and you will only be responsible for the cost if this is unsuccessful.

A one night deposit is required for all bookings during holidays (School, Xmas, New Years and Statutory weekend/holiday periods)

For Group bookings, a $500 deposit is required.  If a cancellation is made within 2 weeks of Check-In date a one night cancellation fee will apply to each room booked.  If cancellation is made less than one week before check-in date the $500 deposit will be charged.

All cancellations must be received in writing.

Arrivals and Departures:

Check-In time: 1pm (if checking in after 6pm, please phone to confirm arrival time)

Check-Out time: 10am (please ask if we can do a late check-out)

Damages:

The guest agrees to be held personally liable for all charges incurred during their stay for any theft, loss or damage to rooms or other areas of the property during their stay.  In the event of a Group Booking the lead or registered guest providing the credit/debit card details is personal liable for any person, group company or association that fails to pay all or part of such charges.

Parking:

There is one parking space available per apartment.
